Today my partner and I visited the restaurant for dinner. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy and they were still open for service. The waiter greeted us briefly, but we had to seat ourselves. Instead of welcoming us, he immediately asked us to move to a different table, then simply placed the menus on the table and walked away without saying anything else. Unfortunately, the service felt cold, unwelcoming, and unprofessional from the very beginning. I understand that everyone can have a long or stressful day, but working in customer service requires treating guests with courtesy and making them feel welcome. Throughout our interaction, there was no friendliness, no attentiveness, and no effort to create a pleasant dining experience. This was especially disappointing because I was already familiar with the restaurant through their delivery service, which I have always enjoyed. That positive impression is the reason I wanted to visit in person. Sadly, the poor service completely changed my perception. Good food is important, but so is the way customers are treated. Because of this experience, I don’t think I would choose to dine at the restaurant again.

Omg I had the arugula salad with beets, cherry tomatoes, pomegranate vinaigrette and goat cheese and it was divine. The brussel sprouts came on a sizzling hot iron skillet and they were also delicious. We dined outside and it was a nice atmosphere.

First time visiting San Francisco. Stopped at this little pizza place and was decently surprised. We had the brisket and margarita pizza. Needless to say it was one of the best wood fired pizzas I’ve ever had, well my first actually. Service was top notch, we were seated immediately and the food came out very fast. Overall highly recommend.

Loved the wine (pinot noir + valochila) + lemoncello cake. The maradonna pizza was ok (thin, cheesy but missing some omph). Came for happy hour. Will return. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Light-filled and lots of menu choices.

If you are in the Emeryville area, Mercato Pizzeria at the Market Place is an absolute must-visit! From start to finish, this place delivers an unforgettable dining experience. For appetizers, we started with the chicken wings and garlic flatbread. The wings were incredibly flavorful and juicy, with the perfect balance of seasoning that left me wanting more. The garlic flatbread was just heavenly—crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, with a wonderful blend of garlic and herbs that made it utterly addictive. For the main course, we ordered both the margarita pizza and the pepperoni pizza, and they did not disappoint. The margarita pizza had a wonderfully tangy tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, and a perfectly crisp crust that was both light and satisfying. The pepperoni pizza was equally impressive—loaded with perfectly spiced pepperoni and the right amount of cheese, with a nice balance of flavors in every bite. The crust on both pizzas was just the right amount of chewy, with a slight crispiness that added an extra layer of texture. What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ma
